The Euro-Asian Juridical Congress was established in 2007 by the Association of Lawyers of Russia in an effort to form a special “forum for discussions” and a means of coordinating legal research and developments with the active participation of authorities, business, within the framework of cooperation with SCO, EurAsEC, EU and WTO.

The main program issues of the Seventh Congress session are:

• WTO law as a supranational legal system and the problems of national security concept implementation in some states;

• WTO law as a tool for insuring the interstate partnership and integration in the field of economy, finance, taxation and customs relations in Euro-Asian region;

• civil legislation of Russia and international law instruments;

• international economic and legal cooperation of member-states of EurAsEC, SCO and EU in the context WTO;

• problems of elaboration of the Euro-Asian region states constitutional legislature in the context of membership in interstate associations;

• harmonization of the Euro-Asian region member-states labour legislation and welfare legislation in the context of membership in WTO;

• impact of world markets instability on the criminogenic situation in the Euro-Asian region;

• monitoring of anti-corruptional rules implementation in Euro-Asian legal space: procedures, criteria, results assessment;

• universalization and fragmentation of the international legal regulation in the context of WTO and international integration;

• WTO as an integration form of legal regulation in the field of environmental protection and nature management.
